Communities around the world will gather for the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims — a time to honor those lost or injured in traffic crashes and to advocate for safe streets for all road users.
Here in St. Petersburg, we're going to plant flags in the park across from City Hall to represent the 186 people who were killed or seriously injured on our streets last year due to traffic violence. Please join us for a short memorial and a moment of silence for neighbors, friends, and loved ones affected by this issue.
